Charlie's debut novel, DEAD CONNECTION, has been bought including translation rights by Random House, UK, for world-wide distribution. Random House changed the name to HEAR THE DEAD CRY. In the same deal they purchased Charlie's fourth book, DESERT ANGEL.

For decades, he was best known as an educator and mental health professional. But in the fall of 2006, DEAD CONNECTION, his first novel for teens and adults was released by Roaring Brook Press, an imprint at Holtzbrinck Publisher in New York -- edited by Deborah Brodie.
